Volunteer with Us
The Finnish Spitz Club of America runs almost entirely on the energy of its volunteers. Whether you have an hour a year or a few hours a month, there is a place for you — and you don’t need to be an expert to help. Pitching in is also one of the best ways to learn about the breed and get to know fellow owners.
Ways to help
- Serve on a committee — from health and judges education to the newsletter, membership, and our National Specialty.
- Support the National Specialty — hospitality, trophies, ring stewarding, set-up and clean-up.
- Contribute to The Finnish Line — articles, photos, and story ideas for our quarterly bulletin.
- Represent the breed at Meet the Breed events and public education days.
- Help with rescue and transport when a Finnish Spitz needs assistance.
- Lend a hand online — social media, the website, and photography.
- Mentor a newcomer — share what you have learned with someone new to the breed.
