About this directory. The FSCA maintains this directory as a public service to help prospective owners identify Finnish Spitz breeders who meet published standards of health testing and ethical conduct. Listing is open to any Finnish Spitz breeder who meets the criteria below — club membership is not required to be listed, and no membership, login, or fee is required to view.

Have you considered adoption? Purebred Finnish Spitz occasionally need new homes through rescue. If you're open to an adult dog, please visit our Rescue & Rehoming page before beginning your search — it may be the perfect fit.

To be included, a breeder attests that they:

  • have signed and agree to abide by the FSCA Code of Ethics;
  • maintain current OFA/CHIC health clearances on their breeding dogs (patellas, eyes, and hips as applicable); and
  • use a written contract and health guarantee.

Breeders are listed alphabetically by state. Please do your own due diligence — the Questions to Ask a Breeder page is a good place to start, and you can verify any dog’s clearances on the OFA database.

The FSCA does not endorse, recommend, warrant, or guarantee any breeder or dog listed. A listing reflects only that the breeder has attested to meeting the criteria above. Please verify all information independently. Breeders found in violation of the Code of Ethics are removed through the club’s documented review process.
